Marion Minigiello, 90, of Rutherford, passed away at home Sunday, February 4th, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City to John and Adeline (nee Critelli) Salvato.  Following Lincoln High School, Marion graduated nursing school at All Souls of Morristown, NJ as an RN.  Having more love to give, she spent over 20 years fostering more than a dozen children in need of a loving home providing much needed guidance to help transition them to a better life. 

Marion is predeceased by her husband Louis (2021), her son Paul (2015), her son-in-law Gary Russell (1995), her only brother Vincent (1996).  She will be deeply missed by her children Patricia Russell, Dina Petronio and husband Mark, John and wife Mary Beth, Lisa Packen and husband Bobby, and Christie.  Her 12 devoted grandchildren Nicole, Brian, Aria, Julian, Niko, Jesse, Darla, Jake, Griffin, Sophie, Drew and Trey and 2 great grandchildren Samantha and Louis. 

Family will receive friends Thursday 4-8pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford.  Funeral Mass of Christian Liturgy Friday at 12pm at the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Avenue, Rutherford.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. 

Donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.  Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home for your convenience.
