Mary Ann Borrone, 79, formerly of Lyndhurst, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 26, 2023. 

Daughter of George and Margaret (nee Curtin) Temple, Mary Ann was born in Jersey City and raised in Hoboken.


Mary Ann has resided in Brigantine with her husband David of 50 years since 1990 where they owned Jacks Pharmacy. 

Mary Ann was a devoted wife, a loving mother and cherished grandmother.  Her passion was taking care of her family.

To her grandchildren Mary Ann was affectionately known as “Nannie”.  She loved spending time with them at the beach house, the pool and around the table playing many board games. 

Mary Ann is predeceased by her husband David (2014) her daughter Mary Beth Greene (2017) and brother-in-laws Walter Lehbrink, Edward Borrone and Lou DiNallo. 

Mary Ann will be deeply missed by her children, David & Laura (Pavick), Meg & Jerry Mezzina, son-in-law Barry Greene and grandchildren Kristin and husband Anthony Casterioto, Jack, Alyssa, David, Jillian and Katie. She is also survived by her sisters Theresa Lehbrink & Kathleen DiNallo as well as her brother-in-law Michael Borrone, his wife Vicky, her sister-in-law Lillian Borrone. Many nieces, nephews, cousins & her caregiver Shirley.

The family of Mary Ann will welcome guests on Tuesday for visiting from 4 to 8pm.

The funeral is Wednesday morning at 9am from Funeral Home for 10am Mass of Christian Liturgy at St. Peter the Apostle RC Church in River Edge.

An Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
