Obituary for Matilda Doyle (Sama)
Matilda (nee Sama) Doyle, 83, of North Bergen, formerly of Rutherford for 64 years, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 30th,2015. She was born to Frank and Victoria Sama in Harrison, NJ.
Matilda was employed by Honeywell Corp. in NYC for 15 yrs. as the Dir. of Education before leaving in 1975. She was an avid reader, an active Yankee fan and enjoyed her knitting club.
Matilda will be deeply missed by her beloved husband John, whom she was married to for 57 years, her 2 sisters; Josephine Calabretta, Melanie Lowenstein and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Frank.
Interment on Thursday gathering 11:00am in Hillside Cemetery, 742 Rutherford Avenue, Lyndhurst.
