Donohue Matthew J. Jr. born in Rutherford passed on July 31, 2009 in Hackensack Medical Ctr. Matt was an Army and Air Corps Veteran of WWII. After his time in the Military he received a Commission by Governor Robert B. Meyner of New Jersey on Dec. 3, 1954 as a Detective and Police Officer. He practiced his duty as a state appointed officer for over 50 years. Matt was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 46, Distinguished Brother and Chaplin of the Boiling Spring Lodge # 152 F&AM of Rutherford; Member of the Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Northern NJ. He also was a Private Pilot often flying out of Little Ferry. Matt is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Judy (nee Dobert). He was also predeceased by his brother Tom Donohue. He will be missed by all his fellow Lodge members. Religious Services will be Wednesday 7:30pm, Masonic Services at 8:00pm at the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
