Sojkowski, Michael D., 57, resident of Rutherford passed away September 28, 2013 after a long illness. He was born in Norristown, Pa. to Michael and Monica (nee Madyar) Sojkowski.
Michael was employed with the Mahwah U.S. Postal Service in their maintenance department for 15 years. He was a proud Veteran for the United States Marine Corps having served from 1974 to 1978. Michael loved Kayaking and take long rides on his Valucia Motorcycle. He was a member of the American Legion and the Church of Saint Mary in Rutherford.
Michael will be deeply missed by wife, Margaret (nee Mastice) Sojkowski,his children; Vanessa McGowan and her husband Brian, Michael Levario, Nicole Sojkowski Shevelev and her husband Nick , Michael Sojkowski Jr., his grandchild, Lachlan and nephew John Eberle. He is survived by his loving sister, Linda Sojkowski.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford.
