Meijide Migdalia (nee Torres) 85, of Rutherford, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2010. Migdalia was born in Cuba to Angel and Carmen Torres on January 16, 1925.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She enjoyed being with her friends at the Kipp Center of Rutherford. She will be missed by her many friends. She is predeceased by her loving husband Jose (1992) and a sister Elina Fernandez. Survived by her children, Caridad Kriete, Joseph L. Meijide and Silvia Lyons and her brother Juan B. Torres. Migdalia leaves behind her cherished 9 grandchildren and 8 great Grandchildren.
Funeral Wednesday 10:00am from the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, Prayer Service following at 11:00am at funeral home. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington Visiting Hours Monday 2-4 & 7to 9pm
