Mildred F. Hollenbeck, of Spring Lake, formerly of Rutherford, passed away on November 29, 2012. Mrs. Hollenbeck was born on January 17, 1923, in East Rutherford, NJ. Her parents were Addison A. Rasmus and Mildred L. Rasmus of Rutherford. After graduating from East Rutherford High School Mrs. Hollenbeck worked at the Rutherford Trust Company before becoming a full time homemaker. She was predeceased by her Husband, Edward T. Hollenbeck whom she married on December 8, 1945. Mrs. Hollenbeck was a longtime member of the Rutherford Women's Club and an avid bridge player participating in several Rutherford bridge groups.
Mrs. Hollenbeck is survived by her two children, Mildred E. Siciliano and her husband Patsy Siciliano and Edward C. Hollenbeck and his wife, Mary Hollenbeck, four grandchildren, Shannon O'Brien, Ashley Rully, Elizabeth Hollenbeck and Morgan Spencer-Hollenbeck, and her beloved great-grandchildren, Laela Camel, Paige Rully, and Jack Rully.
Visitation for friends and family will be held in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford on December 3, 2012 from 10 am to 12 noon followed by a brief service. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ.
