Aufiero Nancy Morane, (nee Scavatti) 102, of Rutherford, formally of Astoria, Queens passed away peacefully on April 25, 2010. Nancy was born in Italy to John and Concetta Scavatti on May 30, 1907. She loved spending time with her children, grand children, great grandchildren and her great great granddaughter. Nancy was an active member of the Church of St. Mary.
She is predeceased by her husband the late Lorenzo Aufiero, her two children the late Concetta Jacovino (1980) and the late Jerry Marone her Grandson Stephen Marone and her great grandson Kenneth Ventura.
Nancy is survived by her loving grand children Jerry Marone, David Marone and Nancy Margenson of Massachusetts, Marylou and Frank Fasouletos of Rutherford, Stella and John Capo of Montville and Leslie and Kenny Ventura of Montville. She leaves behind her great grandchildren Michael and John Marone, Sheila and Andrea Margenson, Nicholas and Jacob Marone, Jillian and David Marone., Michael and Alison Fasouletos, Christopher Fasouletos and Connie Fasouletos, John, Christian and Lauren Capo, Brittany, Ryan and Courtney Ventura.
She also leaves behind her great great granddaughter Lacey Fasouletos.
Funeral will be Wednesday following an 11:00am Mass at the Church of St. Mary, Rutherford. Entombment: George Washington Mausoleum. The Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8pm.
