Obituary for Nancy Jean Schwarz
Nancy Jean Schwarz, born on April 1,1955 in Mount Vernon, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 . She lived on Walnut Street in Rutherford a majority of her life.
Nancy is pre-deceased by her parents Kenneth Michael Sr. and Mary Adelle Schwarz .She is survived by her brother Kenneth Jr. and his wife Brenda Schwarz, her sister Joan Marie and husband Richard Schmidt, her niece Heather Jean Schwarz, Daryl Medina, her nephews Brian Kenneth Schwarz and partner Michael Cyprych, David and wife Heather Schmidt, Michael and wife Tessa Schmidt, great nieces Lindsey- Jean, Ellie, Victoria, and Lexi. Nancy Jean is survived by a large and loving family, Aunts, Uncles, and many close cousins whom she cherished.Nancy Jean graduated from FDU and had multiple Masters Degrees. She was a teacher at Queen of Peace High School for many years, loved tutoring, an avid reader, loved movies and cats. Nancy Jean was extremely active at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church where she volunteered for many fund raising activities, including helping secretaries in their office. Nancy Jean was one of those individuals who cared about other people and offered to help in any way she could.
Funeral will be held on Monday, gathering at 9:30am at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, followed by a 11:00am Mass of Christian Liturgy in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Maywood, NJ.
Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst
Family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00pm
