Olimpia Emanuel Scoullos, 90, passed away at home Saturday, January 30, 2021. She was born in Aperi Karpathos, Greece to parents Kostantis Kostantinides and Marigo Pallikaras. Olimpia later immigrated to the United States with her new husband Emanuel V. Scoullos in 1956. Olimpia and Emanuel eventually settled in East Rutherford in 1975 where she remained. Olimpia was a very hard worker, always putting her husband and her family first. She was a very independent and giving person, who especially loved her grandchildren, and true to being a grandmother, she always worried about all six of them. Olimpia was a member of Karpathian Society of Aperitans Omonola and a longtime member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. She worked for Billy’s Dinner in Paterson as a waitress for 5 years, before retiring in 1986.
Olimpia was predeceased by her husband Emanuel in 1992. She will be deeply missed by her devoted and loving children, William and his wife Karen, Maria (Mary) Lagonikos and Diane, her grandchildren; Zoe and husband Shannon, Emanuel and wife Katerina, Katherine-Olimpia, Olympia-Markella, Niko and Olympia- Afrodite.
Funeral Service on Thursday February 4th at 11am in St. George Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton followed by Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
