Patricia A. da Graca, 83, of East Rutherford passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023.

Patricia was born on April 9, 1939 to Barbara Bode and Ernest Pucklitsch at their home in East Rutherford.   She married her late husband Heitor N. da Graca in 1958.  Together they had one child, whom they loved unconditionally, and three grandchildren. 

Patricia had a 20 year career working for the United States Post Office as a mailbox sorter.  She was a regular patron of the The Candlewick Diner and Ralphs Pizzeria.  Above all, Patricia had a heart of gold for animals. Taking in dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and guinnea pigs.  Her favorite was a whippet named King, a mixed breed named Suzy and a chihuahua named Belle.  

Patricia was predeceased by her mother and father, her brother Edward Pucklitsch, her sisters Karen Montagna and Audrey Barczyk.  She is survived by her son, Michael; her three grandchildren, Tanya, Brett and Michael; her sister Barbara O’Donnell and brother Ernest Pucklitsch.
