LYNCH
Patrick, 75, of East Rutherford, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2010.
Patrick was born June 29, 1935 to James and Wilhelmina Lynch (nee Sandfort). He was a Korean War Veteran (1953-1957) who served with the United States Marine Corps 2nd Battalion at Camp Lejeune and in the Military Police (MP) in Anacostia, Washington DC. Before retiring in 1997, Patrick was a truck mechanic for Roadway Express, Carlstadt.
He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and was a big fan of the Giants and the Yankees.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Maguire) and his children: John and his wife Martine, Donna and her husband Joseph Workstus; he is predeceased by his son Michael (1988) and his brothers and sister Kenneth, James and Maureen Thomas.
Patrick was a loving grandfather of two grandsons Artur and Ruslan.
Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford.
Funeral will be departing Friday 9:15am, for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Liturgy in Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Wallington. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
