Paul Calvin  "Cal"  Fuller
Paul Calvin Fuller, 91, of Tinton Falls, formerly of Rutherford, passed away Saturday, May 2nd, 2015. He was born to Louis and Jean Fuller in Boston MA.
“Cal” was an Engineer for Raybestos Manhattan Company in Passaic for 32 years before retiring in 1986.
He was an avid sailor who built and raced A-class catamarans achieving the North American Championship several times. Cal’s sailboat was affectionately named “Catnip”.
The Fuller Cup Trophy was named by the North Jersey Yacht Racing Association, after him. The Lake Hopatcong Multihull Club recognized Cal in November of 1992 for outstanding leadership in the promotion and advancement of catamaran sailing and racing. They also honored him at the same time as the designer and builder of great catamaran racing boats. He also built and raced DN iceboats. One of Cal's other past times was playing classical music on the piano.

Cal will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ruth (nee Lendick), his brother Clint Shurman, his nephew Eric J. Lendick and wife Linda.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 pm immediately followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford. Rev. David Groenveldt, officiating.
