Rita A. (nee Parziale), 93 of Wood-Ridge, passed away Oct 31th, at home. She retired in 1979 from Dart Industries in Paramus , where she was executive secretary to the COO.

Born in New York City to John and Josephine Parziale. She was a devoted parishioner of Assumption Church and a member of its Rosary Altar Society. She volunteered as an ESL teacher and was an excellent cook, an avid reader and a voracious, lifelong learner.

Rita is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Bocker and her second husband, John Huber, her parents, her son-in-law, Arthur Schaufler Jr., and her siblings, Peter and Michael Parziale. She is survived by her loving children, Joan (Robert) Cole, Marilyn (Donald) Rohrbach, Carole (Victor) Lotito, Lauren Schaufler, John (Rosemary) Huber and Valerie (Jack) Cawley, 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, extended family and friends (some dating back to kindergarten).

This stunning lady was even more beautiful inside than out. Widowed at the age of 38 while pregnant with her fourth child, she was a true inspiration throughout her life with an incredibly positive spirit and attitude whose thoughtful, loving actions were proof that “you are what you do.”

Funeral on Monday 8:30 am from Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 9:30 am Mass in Assumption Church . Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery , No. Arlington . Family will receive friends in Funeral Home Sunday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
