Cavanaugh, Robert J. 56 of Maywood formally of Rutherford passed away surrounded by his family on December 31, 2009. Robert was born in Teaneck to Raymond and Marie (Arnold) Cavanaugh on April 10,1953. He graduated from St. Mary's High School, and went on to further his education earning two Bachelor's degrees in Special Education. He was a Special Education Teacher for the Bergen County JIN Center. (Juveniles in need of Supervision) for many years. He also enjoyed his role as an Umpire for several Rutherford Men's Softball Teams. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann (nee Randazzo) his loving children Amanda and Matthew. His dear sister Jean Van Houten, his brother Raymond and many nieces and nephews.
