Fougner
Robert D. of Rutherford, died at home on February 24, 2013 surrounded
by his loving family.
Born in Staten Island, he lived most of his life in Rutherford. As an
Army veteran, he served for 2 full years and then 6 years in the
reserves and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal in 1960.
He was employed as a Banker, in the auditing department of Citi Bank in
New York City for 34 years
retiring in 1991.

He was a very active member of the Rutherford Congregational Church
serving as Past President of its Church Council and singing in the
Choir. He also volunteered and was a member for the Rutherford Red
Cross and the Kip Center acting as one of its drivers to assist the
membership.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Irmgard (nee Koester) his four
devoted children Barbara Rankin and her husband Bill, Carin Patchell,
Susan Cicchetti and her husband Steven, Eric Fougner and his wife Kathy.
He will be missed by his six adored grandchildren; Matthew, Angela,
Christopher, Steven, Emily and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his
sister in law Elizabeth Fougner.

The family will meet at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 27th at the
Collins-Calhoun Funeral
Home, located at 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, NJ. A 10:00 AM Funeral
Service will be held at
Rutherford Congregational Church, located at 251 Union Ave. Rutherford.
Interment following in Rosedale Cemetery 355 E. Linden Ave. Linden.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26th form 2-4:00 & 7-9:00
PM.
