Obituary for Rosa Maria Lacerda Silveira

Rosa Maria Lacerda Silveira, 71, resident of North Arlington, passed away Monday March 16, 2020.
Born in Brazil to Miguel Pereira Da Rocha and Alice Lacerda Pereira before immigrating to the United States with her family. Always loving her homeland, Rosa would often travel back to Brazil.
Rosa married her sweetheart Jurandir Dias Silveira and together they had 7 loving children. Her large growing family was her happiness in life. She most enjoyed cooking and baking while being surrounded by her children and 20 grandchildren. Rosa spent the last decade battling a disease she fought hard to overcome. With the strength and the love of her family she did prevail giving her more time. She fought the battle until the very end. She leaves a deep hole in her families hearts.
Rosa is survived by her devoted husband Jurandir Dias Silveira, her children; Jucilene Silveira, Antonio Dias Neto, Sued Silveira, Milca Silveira, Suhesley Monteiro, Keilla Silveira, Jetro Silveira and grandchildren; Moabe, Julyana, Anthony, Gabriel, Isabella, Lucas, Joshua, Pedro, Nikolas, Alice, Thiago, Rebecca, Rachel, Daniel, Isaac, Marianna, Samuel, Alexander, Sophia and Sarah.
Family will receive friends Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
Funeral Thursday 11:00am in Funeral Home for 11:30am Prayer Service . Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
