Obituary for Steven Ciccarelli

Steven Ciccarelli, 77, of Little Falls, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2024.
A consummate professional and a gentleman, Steve was a Funeral Director extraordinaire. He recognized that his profession was not an occupation or a job, it was a vocation. He practiced his skills for more than 45 years, counseling and serving families across our area encompassing Bergen & Passaic Counties.
He began his career by joining his in-law's family business named Vaxmonsky Funeral Home in Clifton. He moved on to Frech Funeral Home then Festa Funeral Home, Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home and the McKnight Family of Funeral Homes.
In recent years, Steve’s career continued as he expanded his portfolio of special talents by offering professional support (per diem) to a few select funeral homes serving their families including, the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home where his gifted talent was most appreciated and devoted friendship was most valued.

He will indeed be greatly missed by his family, many colleagues and friends.
Steve is survived by his son Steve Ciccarelli Jr., his sister Maryann Kozel and his brother Anthony. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Ciccarelli.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 26 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford. Funeral Wednesday, March 27 gathering 8:30am in Funeral Home for 9:45am Mass of Christian Liturgy at Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Burial will be private.
