Theresa Ann Mackie (nee Gallagher) 85, of Rutherford on December 8th 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Born at St Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, NJ on October 18th 1926. She was a long time resident of Rutherford, a parishioner of St. Mary’s RC Church and a member and strong advocate of the Pro-Life Group. She was the main contact regarding Pro Life issues for the Archdiocese of Newark and quietly volunteered her time for this worthy cause.

Theresa was educated at St. Mary’s Elementary and High School and graduated from Katherine Gibbs Business School. She was a box office cashier at the Rivoli Movie Theatre, where she started as a teenager and later met her belated husband, Scotty. She had a passion for music, studied opera and played the piano.
She was a manager for the Rutherford Trust Bank for 10 years and left her career to start her family.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband of 59 wonderful years, Randall “Scotty”(2010).
She will be missed by her children, Kim Papenberg and husband Bill, Cheryl Mackie, Carol Donahoe and husband Bill, Randall Mackie Jr., Andrew Mackie and Adele Garner and her late husband George.
Devoted grandmother to Billy and wife Catherine, Andrew, Anthony, Stephanie, Stephen and Joseph. She is survived by her brother, Dr.Andrew
Gallagher.

Funeral Monday departing 9:00 from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford followed by a 9:30 Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary, Rutherford.
Family will receive friends Sunday, 2-4 &7-9pm.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington NJ.
