Obituary for Thomas R Corradino Sr.

Thomas Corradino, Sr., 79, of Mahwah , NJ passed on October 7, 2021. Born in Passaic, NJ to Thomas and Marion Corradino.

Beloved husband to Muriel (Bulkowski) Corradino for 47 years. Dear father to Bryan Corradino and his wife Meghan, Randy Corradino and his wife Jennifer, Kim Hughes and husband Mark, Tracy Pearson and her husband Terry. Thomas was the proud and loving grandfather to Brayden Corradino, Ethan Corradino, Lindsey Coates, Megan Corradino, Lauren Corradino, Quinton Pearson, Joshua Hughes, Susan Hill and great grandfather to Wyatt Coates, Madelyn Hughes, Jakob Hughes, Elle Hughes and Carter Hughes. Loving brother to Marilyn Dill and her husband Ronald and his late sister-in-law Diane Muldoon. Dear Uncle to Kevin Dill, Ronnie Dill, Frank Dill, Thomas Dill and Kathleen Muldoon.

After graduation from high school, he proudly served in the Navy working as a sonarman during the Vietnam War. After his Honorable Discharge Tom joined the Rutherford Police Department where he was a proud and decorated Police Detective. He spend 27 years serving and protecting the town he loved and the town in which he called home for 66 years.

Tom enjoyed learning about computers and anything technical. Tom especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved his trips to Texas and watching his grandkids compete in the sports they loved. On a Sunday you were sure to find him on the couch enjoying football and his NY Giants. Tom was always game for a good poker match with the guys and enjoyed stealing their chips but more importantly enjoyed the laughs.

We take great comfort in knowing he was welcomed by his late son Christopher Corradino who he has missed greatly.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford, NJ on Tuesday October 12th from 3pm to 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Thomas’ name to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday…unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
