Thomas D. Duddy

Thomas Denis Duddy was born on March 6, 1938 in New York City , NY . He was the son of Denis J and Mary Duddy, of Scotland .

He attended Assumption School in Wood-Ridge , N.J. and high school at St. Mary’s in Rutherford , NJ (Class of 1956). At St. Mary’s he was an All-State football player and was nominated to the All-American team in basketball.

Mr. Duddy served with the U.S. Army and was a graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology of Chicago and Seton Hall University of South Orange, N.J.

Mr. Duddy resided in Boca Raton, Florida and Louisville,KY, , where he was a founder and CEO of Trinity Video Communications, Inc. He was formerly a founder and Executive Vice-President of Corstar Business Computing, Inc, and began his career with IBM. Mr. Duddy was a lifetime member of Mensa, the high- intelligence society, a past President of the House of Jims and a member of the Derby City Bop Club.

He is survived by two sons, Denis J. Duddy of New Fairfield,CT,. Thomas C. Duddy of Louisville, KY., 2 grandsons, Tommy and Alex, one brother, John Patrick Duddy of Memphis , TN , and three sisters Nan Schley of Boca Raton, Fla, Catherine Sloan of Rutherford , N.J. , and Maureen Myers of Maryland..

Friends will be received Wednesday 7- 9pm, Thursday 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue Rutherford NJ. A funeral mass on Friday 9:30am in The Church of Saint Mary in Rutherford. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J.
