Thomas Luongo, III, 58, of Rutherford passed away at home on Thursday, May 29th, 2014. He was born in 1955 in Jersey City to the late Thomas V. Luongo and the late Antoinette (nee Sozio) Luongo .
Thomas was employed by the US Postal Service in Hoboken from 1977 and retired as a Supervisor in 2011. He was a member of the
Rutherford Elks; his favorite teams were the Yankees, Vikings and the Devils. He loved spending time with his family & enjoyed the Holidays, especially Christmas.
Thomas will be deeply missed by his wife Madeline (nee Sciancalepore) Luongo, his sons Thomas and Matthew, his brother Robert and his wife Denise and nieces &
nephews; Eric, Kira, Lia and Alex.

Funeral on Tuesday gathering in Church at 9:45am followed by Prayer Service at 10:00am in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 145 Mortimer Ave., Rutherford.
Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.

Family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday in St. John’s Lutheran Church from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers a donation to St. John’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated, in memory of Thomas.
