Obituary for Vincenzo A "Vinny" Giorgio, Esq

Vincenzo Giorgio (a/k/a, Vincent), 56, of East Orange passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
Born on October 24, 1965, in Sant’ Andrea Di Conza, providence of Avellino, Italy to Francesca Russoniello and Antonio Giorgio. He was the baby of three children.

Vincent received his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with Honors and practiced accounting prior to his enrollment into Law School. In 2002, Vincenzo received his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in Huntington, New York. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2002 and the New Jersey Federal District Court in 2003. Vincenzo was also admitted to the United States Tax Court, United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

Prior to joining the law firm of Agrapidis & Maroules in 2014 as a Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury Attorney, he received one of the highest verdicts in the Hudson County Worker’s Compensation Court, awarded a fee of $169,476.00. In turn, Vincent was awarded the Worker’s Compensation Lawyer of the year distinction for the highest earnings in 2013 by the judges in the Hudson County Workers’ Compensation Court.

The loss of Vincent will be deeply felt by so many who were lucky enough to know him and his passing has left an irreparable hole in the hearts of his fiancé, beloved family and close friends. He leaves behind his beloved and devoted fiancé, Varinia Grande; two brothers, Donato Giorgio and Joseph Giorgio; niece, Francesca Giorgio; nephews, Antonio Giorgio; Anthony Giorgio and Michael Giorgio; and cousin Bob Spenzierato & his 3 loving step-sons.

Family will receive friends Sunday April 3rd from 1:00 to 5:00pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Funeral Monday gathering 8:00am from the funeral home for a 9:00am Mass of Christian Liturgy at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 110 Telford St., East Orange. Interment to follow Hollywood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Union.
