Violet (nee Murphy) 92, of Rutherford, on Wednesday March 21, 2012.
Long time resident of Rutherford since 1946. Violet was employed in two local downtown shops. A graduate of Long Island University in Education and became a Teacher’s Aide in Rutherford High School for 17 years before retiring in 1984.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Lagerenberg. Devoted mother to her daughter Dale Lagerenberg. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews
Violet will be remembered for her tact, wisdom, good advice, optimism and never ending sense of humor.

Funeral: Monday 10:00am from Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford followed by an 11:00am Graveside service at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 25th, 2-4 and 7-9pm
