Obituary for Walter Schuyler Vosburgh

Vosburgh Walter S., 80 of Lyndhurst, formally of Rutherford and Glen Rock died in St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, on Wednesday June 24, 2009. Walter was a Steam Fitter for Local 638, New York for over 50 yrs he retired in 1990. He was Navy Veteran of World War II and member of the Tin Can Sailors as well as belonging to the New Jersey Irish American Association, NRA and was a School Crossing Guard on the corner of Highland Cross and Park Avenue for 14 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret (nee Rogers) Moran and loving children Patricia Steiner, Barbara Squitieri and her husband Clay Culak, Mary Vosburgh and her husband Ed Lamy, Walter F. Vosburgh, Cathy Ace and her husband Griff Ace and Robert Vosburgh. Adored grandfather of six grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan, Joseph, Garrett, Allyson and Caroline, his dear sister Margaret Gaylor and her husband Walter Gaylor. Funeral Monday 9:00 am at Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Avenue, followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Liturgy in St. Mary's RC Church, Rutherford.
