Wanda G. Schneider, died peacefully on May 24, 2009 after suffering a stroke. Wanda was born August 8, 1917 in Newark, New Jersey to Stanley and Adele Gzdski. Wanda was an executive secretary at Borden's in New York City until her marriage on February 4, 1956 to George A. Schneider, who predeceased her in 1987. She is survived by her sister, Doris Kiepura, niece Dana Kiepura of Florida and nephew Frank Kiepura of New York; her step grandchildren, Jean Gardiner, Eleanor Ferguson, Nick Cress and Carol Clark; 4 great grandchildren as well as her caregiver Mary Fleming and numerous friends from Wynwood Assisted Living in Monroe Township. Wanda will be missed by her family and friends and will be remembered for her wit, her love of life and her beautiful smile.

Visitation and Memorial will take place June 25, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford, NJ 07070 (201) 939-1030. Interment will be private.
