Murphy,
William D. Murphy, 73, of Weehawken, passed away on Sunday, December 28th, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Jeremiah and Hanora (nee Barry) Murphy; he was born in Boston, MA. in 1941.
William had retired from OfficeMax in E. Hanover where he was employed as their Customer Service Manager.
He enjoyed collecting metal cars, model Lionel railroad trains, he also loved gadgets and toys. He was a big animal lover; he spent time with his precious cat Sheena, his birds and fish.
William is predeceased by his wife Tina (nee Gross) 2004. He will be deeply missed by his children, Merilee Schaefer and her husband John, Kerrin Murphy-Burke and her husband Jason and granddaughter Alyssa Schaefer.
He is predeceased by siblings Gerald and James “Barry” Murphy.
