Dancing John

I remember the first time I ever met him: It was either late 1994 or early 1995. Joe and I were dating at the time and a bunch of us headed over to Docs. I had been there before, several times as a matter of fact. Since this was Joe's first time there, I wanted to point out "the older gentleman" who comes every weekend that can outlast me on the dance floor. This guy would come dressed in a suit and tie, dance with all the girls in the club, and boogie all night long. Much to my surprise, this wasn't just any guy, it was actually Joe's cousin, Johnny. Since then, we've enjoyed many memories dancing with Johnny, whether at a club or at a family gathering. He was always so full of life and laughter. He was confident and knew how to enjoy himself. Johnny will truly be missed, but I know his love for music and dance lives on in Angelo, Debbie, Anthony and Matt. To the Mania family: We are so sorry for your loss. You have our deepest sympathy. With Love, Joe, Anita, Samantha, Stefanie and Jason Batavia
