I am deeply saddened by the loss of Judy Ackermann. I knew her as a teacher who was dedicated to her students and the pursuit of learning. As a person, she exuded a love of life, grace and kindness. One could not help but be awed by her perseverance, despite her many health challenges. I know she'll be missed by anyone who knew her. May she rest in peace.
