Since we were 5 yrs old from day one were like sister's... Mr DeMeskey would come to the side door of there home on Union Ave with a flashlight in hand singing "Here she comes Ms. America" because I was heavy he also made me feel special. Mrs DeMeskey if not working would be cooking! Judy was Italian & I had a Irish backround OMG the many of sleep overs. Her stories after the weekends of Jersey City, NJ with her family & my of Jackson Heights, NY trips on sunday to be with aunt, uncle & grandparents. All thru our ST. MARY school yrs it was always Judy.... in my wedding back in April of 1972. When her & Mark went into the deli business "PONTI" on Styvesant Ave Lynd... I was able to work for awhile since in High School I work for Shop Rite Deli on Park Ave. As time keeps getting in the way of Our Journey of Life each and everytime we finally see each other either on Park ave & a few times at the house that Bill built near memorial field it would only be as if it was a day or two since last time we saw each other. Oh yes and the time she was in the gas station on Park ave we found each other talking for a very long time Bill & Judy were heading down to there boat. And Our boys got married a month after each other in the New Chruch St. Mary's built which was in the works since we were kids & we said we get together to see each other wedding pictures. Now my heart is sadden because tomorrow never came. Judy been on my mind for more then a month because I'm in the process of putting together are 45 yr, scheduled next yr. Since the last reunion she was not able to make because her Dad had been sick. The time has come Life brings Sorrow & Happiness. Memories never fad but they live with us forever...
